Stayed in room 24 and then extended my stay and moved to 29. What a nice little surprise. Will for sure stop back next time thru. Rooms were spotless and quiet. Only complaint I would have is...Really I have no complaints. There is not much choice of hotels within 50 miles and will gladly drive extra to get back to... More

We had a death in the family and this was the only hotel which had availability the weekend we needed to be in the area for the funeral. This hotel is not your typical chain hotel, and I was unsure about our stay before we got there, as you're never quite sure what you will encounter. Location was easy to... More

Stopped here a number of years ago, and have just enjoyed 2 nights recently after a family reunion nearby.. Good value, quiet, and clean rooms. Pool and hot tub area a plus. Would recommend to anyone traveling through Albia, Iowa for a stop over.

I've stayed here often and always had a good experience. It is an older building, but well-maintained and the rooms are always clean and fresh and constantly being updated. Nice swimming pool, restaurant and bar.

Having previously lived in the area, my husband and I returned for a family members funeral and basically just needed a place to sleep at a reasonable cost. After checking prices at the resort in Moravia ($110 a night for 1 queen bed for Thursday night - $125 for Friday) we decided to try the Indian HIlls Inn based on... More

You know, it wasn't terrible. The rooms were clean and not scary. The pool was fine for my kids. The hot tub seemed to be closed. The staff was friendly. It's clearly an older property, but the beds were comfortable and it seemed pretty well maintained. It wasn't luxurious by any means (e.g., no shampoo or lotion or anything). We... More
