Although the rooms are clean and comfortable, the internet service is completely unreliable. When I politely informed the owner/manager of the issue, she was defensive. I offered to assist, because I work in IT. She refused. A few days later, I needed to return. I called 3 times to make a reservation with no reply.I drove 30 miles thinking she... More

A mom and pop motel. Extremely well price. It was so clean. Small room but had all I needed. Staff was very nice and helpful. Was able to walk to several restaurants . Nothing fancy but would definitely recommend it to anyone

We had an an occasion to be in Aledo, Illinois ( pop. 3800) over this past weekend. The only motel in town is the Blue Spruce Lodge. This motel is small (only 10 units) but very nice. The manager was very pleasant. The room although small was very clean. The bed was comfortable. It even had a small frig and... More

Nothing fancy here but everything is nice and clean and works. Great deal if you just want a nice place to crash for the night. Nice quiet little town with good pizza restaurants and quaint little streets.

I was visiting the Aledo area for work, and found this as one of only 2 places to stay in town. The price was right at our budgeted nightly amount for lodging and gave it a try. The rooms are not big, but they were clean and comfortable. The owner checked me in. She was very pleasant and helped me... More

We stay at this wonderful Motel once or twice a year during Rhubarb Days and the Fair. We are always greeting with a smile and a warm welcome. All the rooms are clean, comfortable, and are equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and Wi-Fi. Great hotel and a reasonable price. They always go out of their way to be sure we... More

We stay here when we come to visit family. The rooms are small but clean and decently appointed and reasonably priced. It does have wifi if that's important to you. No phone in the rooms though. Recommended.

Nice place to stay. Great ownership and they care! Stay at this place if you are in town and having a good time. Rates are cheaper than a DUI and trust me the cops are out to get you. Walking distance from the bars and restaurants. Circle K close for midnight treats or booze.

Wow! I was in Aledo, Illinois overnite due to a snowstorm & stayed at the Blue Spruce. The woman caretaker was SUPER FRIENDLY - even offered me a toothbrush & paste if I needed them, the room was SUPER Clean w/ a Coffee Pot, Microwave, Frig, Alarm Clock, Telephone and Cable TV w/ DVD player. And, it was ONLY $50... More

We were in Aledo holding an auction and this was a convenient clean place to stay. Owners were friendly and rooms very reasonable. Very satisfied with our choice. We would stay her again if we come back to the area. It's nice to see a family owned business succeed.
