Every other year my family get together and travel to Six Flags over Georgia to celebrate Military appreciation Day! Its only 2 weekend out of the year at which Six Flags honors active militarians and allow them to come with 2 guest on there behalf and enjoy the park. Its always a large group with my family that travel. This... More

The motel is within walking distance to Six Flags. The bad news is that the whole place smelled like cigarette smoke, especially the hallway. The shower was just a trickle of water, which they couldn't bother to fix during our weekend stay (early August 2013). The second floor ice machine did not work; the pool water was extremely cloudy; and... More

We came to Atlanta for two nights for Dragoncon weekend. Alabama and Virginia Tech were in town playing as well as Georgia Tech. There was also a NASCAR race in area. Six Flags was also open for the weekend. All hotels were packed and traffic horrible. We drove over from AL and chose the Six Flags location because it was... More

Very convenient to Six Flags. The stay came with free parking and we walked to the gate of Six Flags. Bed was comfy (typical of Sleep Inns). The room was clean and had a homey feel to me. Free wifi. This may be a hidden gem for Six Flags visitors...glad we discovered it.

During a summer trip to Atlanta, I chose the Sleep Inn Austell as my stay due to the location and proximity of the hotel to both Six Flags, but also to the Cobb County Transit line to the rest of the city. My impressions are mixed, and reflect a bi-polar hotel. The room: The room is small- don't expect a... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and there were no problems. The room was fine and the breakfast was good. Parking could be a problem when Six Flags is open because the hotel sells parking spaces for 5 dollars but we had no problem.

Stayed in this hotel for my birthday & at first I was unsure but asked to see the room first before I paid & I must say the modern decor was really nice & the room was very clean. There were only 3 cars in the parking lot so there were no guests at the time & we had the... More

Our room was on the first floor of the hotel...since the pool is right there...the room was terribly humid and muggy. Turning the a/c on and opening the windows didn't help much at all. We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights..it was advertised to have free breakfast until 930am. The first morning we were happy with the breakfast...the second... More

Stayed here one weekend in April and was able to walk to Six Flags. Great location, nice job on upgrade to bedding, but bathroom is dated with old tile. Definitely stay on second floor, most of first floor hallway smelled like cigarettes and you can hear someone above you. Breakfast was poor compared to other Sleep Inns and did not... More
