We spent 3 nights in a one-bedroom suite at the Augusta Homewood. It was not large, but perfectly comfortable for two. The room was immaculate, the bed was wonderful, the view of the car park inevitable. The only downside was the construction going on outside at neighboring properties. Easy access off Interstate 20, several restaurants near but not walking distance. Comfortable spacious rooms, friendly helpful staff. Minor renovations taking place in the hotel, some noise during the day. Minor problem with thermostat - difficult to maintain at desired temperature. Overall experience positive. more

Give this hotel a break. True, it is worn in some areas such as the room furniture, but for families, the suite style rooms are still a great asset.
