We stayed one night at this historic hotel. The room and bed were quite comfy, but overall the hotel could use a bit of TLC and updating. The shower was teeny-tiny, but had good water pressure. The restaurant was nice and the food good, if not spectacular. It was nice being able to eat at the hotel and not go... More

As a hotel this place is cruddy at best. I even heard the housekeepers whispering/bragging about how many days they had gone without changing sheets between guests. The best aspect is the bar. The restaurant is not so great. but the bar is where they are actually making money. Nowhere else. I heard it has undergone new management. But from... More

The lobby was nice and had a good historic feel. The staff was friendly. I liked that there was a fridge and freezer in the room. Negative: TV was fuzzy. Lighting was poor. The carpet looked dingy and dirty. The room looked like it was cleaned very quickly, and was not checked over. I'm sure the pillows were cleaned, but... More

Although the Partridge Inn has been negatively reviewed by others recently, our family's experience, overall, was very good. We rented the penthouse and 4 attached bedrooms for a 4 day wedding weekend. We also had a rehearsal dinner in the smaller ballroom. Majeeda White handled all the reservations and event planning. Check-in was a little bumpy, as the previous guests... More

We stayed at this hotel while in town for the ironman the weekend of 28 September 2014. The carpets are disgusting in the halls and rooms and badly need replacing. Do not go barefoot anywhere. They are visibly brown in high traffic areas which makes it more unreasonable that there hasn't been some type of cleaning or plan for replacement... More

The Partridge Inn is a historic Inn of America. I like that. There is a lot of history and unique architecture here. Unfortunately, its best days appear to be well past and the outlook is not bright. There were a lot of things to like: a great location in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful antebellum houses along the street, a... More

I stayed at The Partridge Inn from April 2010 to August 2010 and visited there several times after. It's close to downtown Augusta. The hotel it's is really nice and quite and have great entertainment. I had brunch several times at their restaurant that is absolutely wonderful. The staff and the food is really good. I would highly recommend The... More

Stayed for two nights at the Partridge Inn with a friend. We had the studio with the kitchen on the ground floor. Kitchen and bathroom could both use updating, appliances and fixtures were old. I come from Savannah, so I know that "charming" hotels could also have updated facilities! Otherwise, location was good and staff were friendly, albeit the people... More

This experience is reminder not to believe everything you see in pictures, as the photos of the room on the Inn's website are obviously all shot from the penthouse! The descriptions of the various rooms should be taken with a grain of salt as well: we selected one of the queen with kitchen suites, based on the description of amenities... More

The thing about the Partridge Inn is that it is old...very old. It's obviously dated, but if you can get past that, it's fairly pleasant. The walls did seem a little thin, though, because I got woken up by people outside our room multiple times. I'm a light sleeper though, so take that particular comment with a grain of salt.... More
