I've stayed at Microtel Inn's in the past and it is usually a good budget hotel but this one was an exception. We noticed a sign on the reception desk that warned us that the hotel was smoke-free and if your room smelled like smoke upon check-out that we would be charged a $250 fee. We are non-smokers so we... more

I stayed for a week in April '09. The rom was billed directly to my company so I don't know about rates. It was Masters week, so it was probably inflated. The first night I was in a room that had been smoked in, despite the hotel being smoke free. It also had no safe and the phone was missing... more

I began staying at this hotel several years ago when it was new and it was the first of this brand I had stayed in. The positive experience AT THE TIME made me a Microtel customer. Generally my experiences here have been at least average but have been slowly deteriorating until my last trip, which was terrible. I was booked... more

This hotel is dirty to say the least. The price was the only good thing about it. My son woke up to bitting ants in his bed. The room was not clean. Bathroon had hair mold and dirt. The carpet smelled and the sheets were not changed one time during our 5 night stay! Oh and the hallways also smelled... more

My family stayed at this hotel for one night in July 2006. I felt that the room was not clean. The bathroom had someone else's hairs on the floor. The breakfast was next to nothing. Small dried out muffins and watered down juice. Also, I lost sleep due to a fight between two parties in the room next door. I was... more

The elevator has a beep to announce floors to the blind - given the dirt in this place, it is ideal for the blind. On the plus side, our little room had a minifridge and a microwave (not plugged in) and a coffee maker and a tiny (but useful) desk and it was quiet. On the negative side, the walls... more

You get what you pay for... We booked two rooms, the first room was already occupied and located next to a room that was filled with a hazardious waste clean-up crew with barrells on the luggage carts. Upon going back to the lobby to exchange rooms to an unoccupied room, the manager on duty would not comment about the hazardious... more

I am a woman who was traveling alone. First I felt very unsafe. I was told by the front desk staff not to worry abot safety. That teenagers always book rooms for parties but they always run them off. This didn't make me feel any better. This hotel is wayoff the road and by a gas/truck stop. 2nd - the... more
