They tried very hard to give great service but the but the lifts were not working. I will stay there again for the very good service. Very good breakfast and the bar people were wonderful. The hotel is right downtown.

When you’re reading this review, make sure you have the right Holiday Inn; this is the one that is at 197 East Broad (there’s another a couple blocks away that is farther from the downtown area, but still on Broad Street). Let me just say, for location, you can NOT beat this amazing location. The Univ of Georgia is right... More

I'll start this with the caveat that the hotel could have been having an off weekend due to so many events taking place in Athens this past weekend. While the room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the location was definitely convenient (it's walkable to many restaurants and coffeshops, including the UGA campus), there were definitely things that could... The rooms in this hotel are very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and the check in and check out process was flawless. We slept comfortably both nights. An in room issue was the cheap bath tissue. I don't know if this was a chainwide issue or simply a franchisee looking to cut corners but you don't... More

If you want a walking distance hotel in Athens this is good. The restraunt is not too good. Rooms are clean. Nothing special. Everything worked. AC worked not as well as I would prefer. Staff was very good

Top notch hotel. Staff ensures your event is well planned, prepared and executed. Hotel went through major renovation - top hotel in Athens along with great location near downtown and campus area. Parking is plentiful and very close to entertainment and restaurants

This Holiday Inn is clean, comfortable, and staff is pleasant. But value is missing here. For similar prices, the Holiday Inn Express down the street is a better option. As mentioned above, you're getting a little less for your money. No complimentary breakfast, no microwaves or refrigerators in the rooms, thin walls. There is a restaurant on site, but the... More

Dear QM, Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to share your recent experience. We apologize that you didn't find the value in the room as compared to other mid scale hotels. We are considered to be a full service hotel with a full service restaurant which is the difference. We also do have some rates... More

Finding our room was not a problem but the noise level definitely was a problem. All night we were awakened by a loud bell! If the traffic and construction noise wasn't enough to deal with the bell topped it off. On a positive note the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was within walking distance to... Older hotel that really needs a major overhaul. My room was pretty grungy and elevator noise was loud. The place is kind of a maze due to some random expansions. The staff were super nice and the location is good.

Stayed for three nights on our first visit to Athens. We requested and were given a room in the north tower which I learned from reading reviews. My only negative comment is that the layout of the property is a bit confusing. Navigating from the car to the front desk back to the car and finally to the room was... More
