Best location for visiting UGA. Rooms are small but nicely decorated. Our room had a queen bed, a comfortable desk and chair, a very small round table with two chairs, and an updated bathroom. Noise can be an issue. Check-in was slow, but check-out was even slower. Checking out at 7:20 on a Saturday morning should not take 20+ minutes.... more

Stayed here many times without complaint. Location can't be beat, straddling the bustling downtown and the the lovely North Campus of the university. I was perhaps a bit generous with "above average" rating, but after my stay, I felt most of the other reviews of this hotel were undergenerous. Of course it was mid-winter, so the noise factor might have been skewed. At the advertised $121, I think the hotel would be definitely overpriced, but I got an ~OK price on Priceline that... more

Hotel is old - needs renovation. But location is in the center of town and university. That is why the rate is rather high. I guess the October season also commands high rate too. I did not try the restaurant. Since there are other choices around, prefer to go out rather then eat from Hotel. more

At Univ of GA for wedding. Hotel staff very personable, clean rooms, grounds, helpful in local sites despite fact place was maxed out-returning weekend for Univ of GA students. Never once did anyone in our party which had several rooms there have a complaint or concern. Will go back gladly. more

Rolled in very late eveing hoping for a room. Not only a room but an upgrade to the main building.Todd on the front desk was very helpful,not only giving us a detailed list of bars & restaurants but also taking the time to actually find out what we wanted to do!
