I was here for a conference that was a few blocks away at the Classic Center. This place was more moderately priced than the hotel across the street from the center. It is clearly a place trying to work on its image. I enjoyed my stay there but the place seemed to be having a bit of an identity crisis.... more

I just returned form a conference where I stayed at Foundry Park Inn. I was delighted to see how beautiful the campus was. It was quaint and quite lovely. The grounds had beautiful azaleas blooming and I took many great pictures as I wandered around. The room was classic in decor and was furnished with an iron, hair dryer, and... more

Nice to see a non-chain hotel with a degree of charm. Rooms well appointed, well furnished and kept very clean (although walls "thin"). Small reception with friendly and welcoming staff. Choice of eating in the main restaurant (where meals were excellent on both occasions) or the more casual music bar/pub. Small outdoor pool (seasonal) but in a sunny location for... more

The Foundry Park Inn and Spa has got character. It has the feel of a set of buildings that were once used for something else, but were converted to a hotel, though I don't think this is the case. There are several two story buildings and they all seem to have motel style outside facing rooms. This is a very... more

We used the Inn to house numerous out of town guests during a family members wedding. I personally handled all the details in regards to room reservations and coordinating the events held at the Foundry; I found their event staff and planning process lacking and a very upsetting experience. We scheduled 2 events at the foundry a formal dinner and... more

We were so pleased with the hotel. We were concerned when we saw other reviews after we had already made our reservations, but gave it a try anyway. Thank goodness! The beds were great, rooms a little out dated but decorated nicely. The registration staff were so nice and we had reserved a package and the front desk had our... more

This is an older property that has been updated in the last few years, I would guess. We occupied 3 rooms for 4 days: 104, 106, 107. GOOD: front-desk personnel, breakfast and waitstaff at the Hoyt House (on-site), close enough to downtown but still quiet (except see below), comfortable bed (Room 106). NOT SO GOOD: wireless internet never worked consistently... more

This hotel is quaint on the outside with limited parking. Our room was not desirable at all. The carpet was "stained" and dirty. There was a stain on one of the sheets, the tub had dirty grime on the bottom of it and the room just did not seem too clean. Our room was in the mix of several rooms... more

We are helping our daughter find venues for guests, parties, and spa visits. None of us live in the area, all guests and members of the wedding are from out of town with the groom being an alum of UGA-so the ceremony and reception are being held at the Botanical Garden. 3 days of accomodations, rehearsal dinner, etc all need... more

I stayed at the Foundry Inn last weekend and it was the worse experience of my life. When we got there we were in a rush and needed to take a shower. Suprisingly our water was brown. I contacted the front desk and they told me that it was brown all around the city. That was untrue because I went... more
