victoria and staff are nice however, the manager walks around like he's father john and trys to stick his nose in everybodys business. owner named bridge never acts on his rude behavior. trys to limit what you eat from breakfast bar. states he's from the navy! We were 1st given a room that had a broken lock on it; if you pushed hard enough on the door it opened by itself without the key card. Just a few minutes drive from the bustling student city, the hotel had everything we needed in the room... tv, aircon, hairdryer, free wireless, bath, shower and a comfy clean bed. The staff were helpful, and the free self serve breakfast wasn't bad for the price. more

This place is located about 3 miles from downtown and 2 miles from Georgia Square Mall. Quite place and very clean room. The complimentary breakfast is simple but good for the price of the stay. Free wifi. Drawbacks: shower water pressure not good. TV is small. And very noisy in early morning when a lot of people are checking out. more

I have stayed in a few Microtels and they were pretty nice for a lower tier hotel. Some websites say "Microtel Inn & Suites". Take the Suite off because there are no suites at this hotel in Athens.
