I stayed at the UGA conference center recently for a conference I was attending. I found the hotel to be clean and the bed comfortable - that was where the positives ended. I found them lacking in the finishing touches that make a hotel worth returning to. Housekeeping started pounding on doors at 8:30 am and no breakfast was provided.... More

I have to attend the SWANA conference to keep my certification current. Upon my arrival I found out that my finance department did not make my hotel reservation. They did have three days open but my final day and night would require me to move to another hotel. Craig at the front desk told me to check often with him... More

Thank you for taking the time to share with us your recent experiences at the UGA Hotel and Conference Center. Travel is always challenging, and when things don't go as planned it creates stress at a time when we are away from the comforts of home. I pleased that my Front Desk team was able to handle this issue for... More

The staff is very nice and helpful. They gave good recommendation for dinner and the shuttle system was nice to get downtown to eat. Rooms are a bit on the small size for the money. They are doing some renovation and it does need it, a little shop worn. Wifi required signing in using email or Facebook and not just... More

Stayed at the hotel as my daughter was auditioning for a grad assistantship. Room was very clean and affordable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great choice especially if you are visiting the university. I like the fact it is run by the students.

Thank you for taking the time to share with us your experiences on your recent visit to our hotel. I am very proud of the work our Housekeeping Department provides to our guests; as a traveler myself, cleanliness is the number one expectation when I stay overnight. I also believe a hotel staff differentiates one hotel from another; our student... More

Took refuge here on a cold, rainy night. The front desk crew was fast, efficient, and extremely friendly and accommodating. The Savannah Room restaurant stayed open to help travelers arriving late on a night nobody wanted to go out looking for dinner. The wait staff was fast and so nice. The food was delicious even though they were working with... More

I have stayed at the UGA Hotel and Conference Center on many occasions and enjoy being on campus and have always had nice rooms. However, during my recent stay the room and bathroom were tiny. I should have asked for a larger room but for some reason decided not to. Big mistake. Also, the breakfast cafe downstairs is not good.... More

I appreciate you taking time to provide us with your thoughts on your experiences during your stay; I'm disappointed that we did not meet your expectations. The staff at this hotel treated us like family! This hotel is located in the heart of all of the UGA and City of Athens attractions, restaurants, etc., and the hotel provides shuttle service to them all! The attitude of each staff member, especially Ms. Promyce Johnson, Ms. Bonnie Murphy, and Ms. Allison Joiner, was friendly, courteous, very personal, yet... More

I chose to stay at the Georgia Center because I was getting married on campus this past weekend. I stayed in a Lumpkin King Suite. The room was ready early and the staff was incredibly friendly. Any request I had, they jumped right on it and made sure I was satisfied. The bed was very comfy and the room was... More

Enjoyed the stay. Could have had better food options in eating areas. Lot's of sitting space in Lobby area. We stayed in a suite and room was very nice. Great spot on Campus. Easy to get downtown using Uber.
