This hotel was rather promising, but did not live up to my expectations. The room was extremely small with no closet, and there was a great deal of noise from the hallway. The on site dining options were very limited and somewhat overpriced. The shuttle, however, was rather convenient, although it is limited in terms of destinations and hours. The... More

Awesome location and great staff. Shuttle very convenient. The University of Georgia campus is beautiful and this hotel is snuggled right in the middle of it. Great for campus visits. Fills up quickly on game days.

While the rooms were on the small side, we were there to tour campus so not a big deal. Staff very friendly and helpful. Shuttle will take you anywhere on campus so no messing around with parking. Note the shuttle only runs til 10p so after that you're walking or übering. Would stay there again.

I came here for a provessional event and I stayed for 2 nights. Both nights were very noisy, with people talking on the corridor between 11 pm and 3 am, doors slammed etc. Unfortunately the great service does not make up for this aspect. The walls are thin. The room was very clean, the hotel looks renovated, the restaurant food... More

I stay here every year for a conference I attend each spring and visit during the day at least 3 other times each year for various conferences. I really enjoy this place. It has everything you need while you are away on business. I can get a bite of food, good coffee, run on the treadmill/use the elliptical, get a... More

I accompanied my husband on a trip to Athens. The hotel is nice and clean but the rooms are very small. They were very nice to allow me a late check out since the hubs was at a conference in the hotel all day. That being said housekeeping started cleaning in our hallway at 8 am and were very loud.... Staff was very nice and helpful. Room size was fair, though sink area a little tight for 4 people. The mold line in the shower tile was a bit surprising. The one significant recommendation we can give is to ask if the kitchen will be cleaning out the grease trap while you're there as the smell is nauseating. We would... More

This is a little older hotel, but very nicely appointed. We were in town due to a fire at my parents home, so we couldn't stay with them. All the other hotels, except the Hilton, were full due to a HS conference going on. This wasn't my first choice, but turned out well. The rooms are small, especially the bathrooms,... More

Thank you for taking the time to share with us your experiences at our hotel on your recent trip to Athens. The hotel was built in 1957 and we do have some smaller rooms from that era that are priced appropriately for their size. We have added an additional wing to the property that offer traditionally sized hotel rooms with... More

I checked in the uga center on March 8 th room no. 548 and checked out on March 11 , I have paid all my bills prior to departure. Unfortunately , today's afternoon 13 March , I received a message from the bank stated that an amount of $.247 was deducted by the hotel which surprised me. I was quit... More

Mr. Basha, I like to begin by apologizing for the misconception about the inquiry with you concerning the missing foot quilt from the room you occupied with us March 8 - 11th. Upon your departure our housekeeping department reported the missing item and I instructed my Front Desk Manager, utilizing the information we had on file for you, to contact... More

I stayed at the UGA hotel for a week-long conference. The rooms were very small for a week stay, but they did have a small refrigerator and microwave. Housekeeping was prompt and did a good job keeping the room up. The walls are not well insulated, so you can hear the TV and people in the rooms beside yours. The... More
