5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

This was our first stay in a Hotel Indigo and we were very pleased. The staff was friendly and helpful and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops downtown. The room was modern, different from the typical chain but roomy and quiet on the Penthouse floor. Highly recommend for a quiet night's sleep.

My daughter, her best friend and I just stayed at The Hotel Indigo in Athens, Ga. What a treat! Beautiful rooms, views, wonderful restaurant...and we even got to bring our puppy, Harry Styles! The staff bent over backwards to make us feel at home. We loved the gym, the art gallery, and the food at the Madison Bitro was to... More

We booked the NYE package at Hotel Indigo. Check in was easy, room was lovely, staff was pleasant. We went downstairs to the Rialto for the NYE party and that's where the problems began. The room where the band was playing only had 7 or 8 tables and 30 min. before the band started, they were already taken. The outer... More

Dear Jerry and Susan, I'd like to apologize for any inconvenience you experienced from our NYE party in the Rialto Club. This event is designed for our hotel guests and we put a lot into the evening, including local band, midnight champagne and a dance floor for up to 250. The limited seating in the Rialto Club was designed specifically... More

This hotel appears upscale compared to other hotels in the area. It is very convenient to downtown and the UGA campus. I paid twice the price for this hotel room than I would have at any other hotel in town. The hotel was nice but not worth the extra price. I had some issues with the front desk upon check... More

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights and almost everything was perfect. The architecture and layout of the hotel were very unique and relaxing from the lobby, bar and lounge area, and courtyard all the way to the room. Being a 5 minute walk from the bars and restaurants downtown was great and very convenient for nightlife and... More

Beautifully design Scandinavian style hotel. Close to UGA and all the restaurants so everything was walkable. Highly recommended and my entire family loved it. Rooms were modern, stylish and super comfortable.

Dear Nancy, Thank you for your review of our hotel. The Penthouse floor has the following features and amenities that our other floors do not including higher ceilings, wall to wall expansive windows, key card access only and our Penthouse Perks complimentary drinks. I apologize that you did not understand these were different than our other three floors. Hopefully on... More

We met our grown kids and their spouses after Thanksgiving in Athens for the night and attended the football game on Saturday. We all enjoyed our stay at Hotel Indigo. The rooms were very unique and nice as well as very modern. We had everything we needed including a comfortable bed. The hotel is within walking distance to the restaurants... More

This should be considered one of the nicer hotel in Athens and offers great customer service to match. We stayed in a suite that offered a kitchenette and pool table. While the hotel's location does not offer any great views it is only a few blocks to downtown Athens and UGA. The staff was outstanding to work with. We did... More

I would stay here again. When you travel often for business many tend to get liery of non-chain hotels, especially in college towns. This was well cared for and well thought out. Recycle bins in the rooms. Spacious shower. Very nice outdoor sitting area. Large work area. The entrance is actually from the side street and not the actual address.... More

"BEST PRICE GUARANTEE" is promoted on the Hotel Indigo website. I consider this to be misleading. If I stayed overnight during the week, the average price is $149 per night. However, I stayed overnight on the weekend and the price of my room was $239 (then add on taxes and parking and my total bill was approximately $280). How is... More
