I stayed at the Intercontinental Real San Pedro Sula in Feb. 2009 and was very pleasantly surprised. The staff were courteous, the hotel was beautiful, the breakfast quite extensive (although food at the hotel seem expensive in general), the rooms spacious and tasteful, and the pool was lovely to lounge by. Stayed 1 night on way from Miami to Utila Small, clean, friendly, Picked up from Airport by Hotel car $16. Room price was cheap....but ask for 1, fan, 2, AC, 3,shower (COLD), window..none, but still cheap Located in rundown area (I believe the main drag for very ugly prostitutes). Poor food in immediate vicinity Do not go out at night... more

I came into SAP at midnight on Spirit Air. There was a cab waiting for me ($12) that took me straight to the Hotel where I could pay in US dollars. Clean rooms and fairly quiet, TV, AC, breakfast, internet $24 and close to Parque Central (walk) and Zona Viva ($2/3 cab) more

OK budget hotel with nice friendly staff, some even speaking english. Brekfast not indluded but avalable in hotel. Rooms are quite clean and quite big, but no windows. However, cold water only in the shower. more
