Probably my favorite part of my trip to honduras that I took in March. I went with my boyfriend and my three friends and from the moment we walked in they made us feel incredibly welcome. We explored the Ruinas all day and came back to a super clean room, comfy beds and just a gorgeous view. The home cooked... More

This was a lovely hotel. Dona Elena is very attentive and sweet. It was quiet when I arrived and so they upgraded my room for free. The room was clean and very comfortable. It included a fan, so it was nice and cool. The breakfast was great too. Although it is a little out of town - up the hill... More

Elena and Lupita made my short stay a wonderful one! They made me feel like I was family! Great, home-cooked food, endless Copan coffee, fresh free lemonade, coupled with clean rooms made it the most memorable stay.

We spent 2 nights here while visiting the Copan ruins, which are less than 10 minutes away by car.We speak Spanish and received a lovely warm greeting from Dona Elena herself when we arrived late in the evening from Quirigua, Guatemala. It is true that it is located only 6 blocks from the main square of the town of Copan... More

We loved our short but sweet stay here. It is a little bit out of town but it is worth it for the views. Even though we spoke little of the same language Elena made us feel very at home. The room was lovely and very spacious. Very clean and lots of storage space. She served us lemonade and fresh... More

If I could give this rating more than five stars, I'd give it 500. Although I recently stayed here no more than a single night, I've had nothing more than an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived, I was politely greeted at the door and was quickly escorted to my room, where I was served with fresh lemonade and... More

My sister and I stayed here in July, it was our first stop whilst travelling Central America. At first the place was lovely, it was overlooking the jungle with lots of plants and beautiful rooms. We got a free breakfast, the room was clean and the hosts were friendly. We were further out of town than most hostels in copan... More

Had the pleasure to spend a night at Elena's hilltop B&B. Hospitality couldn't have been better, and everyone made sure that we had everything we needed. The rates are great, and the location and views and serene nature of the place made for a very enjoyable stay.

This is a place of tranquility, honesty, and great home-style honduran gastronomy. A short and safe walk to the main square. We stayed in La Guara room for for two nights. It was a nice and cozy room with the basics, convenienty located by the the office and Dona Elena's kitchen. Nery, Alba and of course Dona Elena made us... More
