This is a really good place to base yourself when visiting Copan. Howard and Hamlet go out of their way to make your stay a happy one. The breakfast is really good and the rooms are nice. There is no A/C in the room but the fan was good enough.

Stayed here for 4 nights and loved every minute of it. First of all, the owners were very quick to reply to my questions during the planning stages and made some great and useful recommendations like how to get from San Pedro Sula to Copan. The B&B is just on the edge of town which is great because it is... More

I stayed here one night looking for a relaxing evening and a good, healthy breakfast for starting my site-seeing activities. The owners, Angela and Howard, are wonderful people (and fluent in English, Spanish, and Mosquito) and the staff couldn't have been nicer, more welcoming, or eager to make sure I was happy. I arrived in the evening, and dropped off... More

We ended up staying 3 nights instead of 2 as originally intended - and wish we could have stayed much longer. Arriving late in the evening we were immediately mesmerized by the beautiful property all lit up with candles. Despite the late hour we were able to order dinner and loved the spread of tamales, cheese and fruit plate. Breakfast... More

Nice big, clean rooms with a two tier garden area for meals or relaxing. Breakfast was delicious. The staff is very well trained and friendly. Lots to do in the area, and it is an easy walk to the main square. We walked to the ruins, too. The owner was very helpful with onward travel recommendations which we used. Wish... More

Wow. This place is great. We arrived on the Hedman Alas bus from San Pedro Sula after a night at a hotel in SPS and were welcomed to the lovely B and B. We needed to adjust to Honduras and this was the home away from home to do it in. We ate huge lunch, (not included in our rate,... More

We had intended to stay at the Iguana Azul hostel which is just next door from this hotel but when we arrived in Copan were not exactly sure how to get there and wishing to ditch our bags, chose the cheapest closest option. A mistake...the hostel chosen was in an incredibly noisy area of town and note having slept much... More

We arrived at Casa de Cafe after a long and tumultuous bus journey from La Ceiba, having travelled for an entire day and enduring a break down! We couldn't have been happier with the swift arrival process......within minutes we were in our room, cold beer brought to us and meal being prepared. We sat under candlelight in the lovely garden... My family of four stayed here for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The garden is a beautiful place to start the day with the best breakfast that we had in all of Honduras and fantastic coffee. The ladies that run the place are very helpful, putting up with our non existent Spanish, and making special breakfast pancakes for... More

Easily one of the most pleasant experience I had in Copan. I saw humility in the owners and staff, a service-minded attitude, sweet courtesy and a desire to help the customers. La Casa de Cafe is conveniently located and has a great view. Breakfast each morning was such a delightful experience with the natural sounds of the birds. Howard, Angela,... More
