I stayed 2 nights at Berakah. Initially it was a way to El Salvador, but I had to wait an extra day for a shuttle (easily organised through the hostel) so I chilled out for a bit. The staff are super friendly and up for a chat, and the free breakfast in the morning is fantastic. The hostel is in... More

Berakah was an ok hostel. We had a private room which was ok. The water went off several times a day and we had to ask to turn it back on. The terrace area was nice, as was breakfast and the staff. But the kitchen was pretty grubby, dark and not great. Also we got some laundry done and it... More

This place is well priced, well located and friendly. We had a large double room just behind reception. I thought it might be a bit noisy, but it wasn't. The shower was hot and the room was clean. There were fresh towels, soap and shampoo. Just a note about the water: in Copan the water sometimes goes off in the... More

Pretty much a quintessential hostel experience. Well located, friendly staff, reasonably priced rooms, and a diverse crowd of hearty travelers to engage and share stories in the awesome upstairs patio. Loads of cheap eats and nearby transportation also added tot the convenience. There were some water issues during our stay but the owner had that remedied lickity-split. Can definitely recommend... We stayed at this hostel about a week ago...the owner and reception were friendly and help us on general information about town. the room was clean and a beautiful open deck on the second floor with a hammock and small kitchenet. location is perfect a block from main square and few mins walk to arqueologic park. I bothered them with... More

I stayed at Berakah for two nights. Location really can't be beat for the price (~$6/night). Just a few blocks away and an easy walk from Parque Central, the Municipal Market, and lots of well reviewed eats like Comedor Mary, Cafe Via Via, and Sol de Copan. I slept in the dormitory both nights which had 5 beds, two bunks... More

Nice spot for two nights. Desk staff speak English and provided good info about local restaurants, the ruins and shoe repair places. The private room with bathroom is reasonable and the dorms are even cheaper! I found the room a bit hot but that's because of the crazy heat wave going on right now. (Read: not normal) the fact that... More

I have visited copan 3 different times and this was one of my favorite places to stay. The service was great, and the people were very welcoming. I really enjoyed the environment of this hostal. If you are Ina budget this is one of the best places to stay in copan. I highly recommend it!!

Nothing to complain about. A fridge upstairs be a good upgrade for the kichen so would do a kettle. Owner friendly owner. Helped with all the tours we done. Good local information. Helped with busses and so on as well.

I stayed here for two nights in a private room, en route to Antigua after seeing some good reviews online and taking someone's advice. Overall I was impressed, there are only three private rooms and a dorm room so the place is reasonably quiet. The second floor has a lovely view and a couple of hammocks this where I spent... More
