My wife and I stayed for three days at Terramaya in April. We stayed in the room with the view of the valley and loved our terrace and the fantastic hammock. I loved waking up in the morning and going out to see the day beginning in town. The room was impeccably clean and staff came in multiple times each... More

Tip: Room 5 is really good (it has a charming balcony). The room 3 tends to be noisy specially if you go to bed early. (If you are visiting the ruins check my review, pics and tips) Pros: GREAT service (every night Mariana leave some chocolates and a card wishing a good night and fresh water), convenient location, beautiful "boutique... Absolutely charming, small boutique hotel. Rooms are spacious and updated/modern while retaining that hacienda charm. Breakfast served on the terrace every morning was delicious with fresh fruit, granola, and a hot plate that varies every morning from scrambled eggs to pancakes to huevos rancheros. The hour long massage in the garden was well worth the $40. Only thing I would... More

We stayed here mid-March and found it to be a lovely B&B. Angela was most helpful and her assistant, Mariana, was delightful. She practiced her English and we practiced our Spanish. Rooms were nice, although we had the two upstairs rooms that front the street and it was very noisy. Used the A/C at night as white noise to drown... More

Rates as one of our best stays. A Simple, elegant, and serene place. Delicious breakfast overlooking the Garden every morning. Lots of great books to read about the local Copan Ruins, Mayans, and the region. We were only there 4 nights, but this is the sort of place that seeps into your psyche. Howard , Angela and their helpful Terramaya... More

This is a great place. We rented the whole hotel for a week for a volunteer project in the area. Staff is outstanding. Very safe. Great breakfast. If you go to Copan and stay in the middle of town, be prepared for a certain amount of noise at night and early morning-- I used the noise app on my Ipad.... More

The hotel was very quaint and has a great sense of the culture. You could see this demonstrated in the artwork, needlepoint, and linens. The staff particularly Marianna was fabulous! You get get fresh tea with lemongrass that was cut from the garden. The outdoor eating area was very tranquil. It was heavenly having breakfast there every morning. You will... More

During our 4th visit to Copan, we splurged and stayed all 6 nights at Terramaya. The room was beautiful, comfortable & peaceful (with our own private balcony), the staff (as always) kind, genuine, helpful and well trained. The sense of hospitality displayed by all the staff, including our beautiful hostess (and owner) Angela, made this stay at Terramaya special and... More

I was in Copan largely for spanish classes, and after 6 nights of a very disappointing homestay, decided I needed a hotel so that I could experience a hot shower, clean room, and clean sheets. I asked at Casa de Cafe, but they were booked, so owner Howard offered me a room at Terramaya (same owners). It was a little... More

This hotel was awesome. It was more expensive than most in the area $79/night for two people. But the place was awesome. The rooms were extremely clean and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We arrived around 8pm and they gave us a map (not that it was needed the town is rather small) and helped us find a place... More
