We travel all over C.A. by motorcycle looking for the best lodging at each destination. By far, Casa Grande is the nicest we have stayed at in Comayagua. Beautiful rooms surrounding a courtyard garden, attentive and pleasant staff and a delicious breakfast in their restaurant included, this place is hard to beat. They even went out to get yogurt and... More

I stayed 3 nights at the Hotel Casa Grande in Comayagua as part of a Latin American business trip. I had some trepidation about Honduras in general given its reputation so when the door to Casa Grande was opened by a small man with a big gun, it didn’t help ease my concerns. However, I shouldn’t have been worried. My... More

the hotel was nice, lots of character but very poor service. The fan worked but only with the light on. Because the 5 bulbs were a bit bright to sleep with i asked about it at the front desk and was basically told to take out the bulbs myself. i normally would have but because the fan/light was about 15... Loved the rooms, the staff is great. The hotel is located a short walk from the central park, where you ca admire the beautiful cathedral and take a tour to its tower so see the still working oldest clock in Latin America.

This friendly little hotel - not much English spoken, is located on the edge of central Comagua. It is a beautifully restored family owned casa. A restaurant run by the hotel had just opened directly across the road and breakfasts are served here - the breakfasts are 'local' and feature the usual rice/bean dish etc. We were there on Xmas... I have stayed at many Honduran Hotels and this hotel was by far the best. The meals were good, the staff was very friendly and helpful. You can pay for your room in $ US at the official bank rate but no credit cards. The rooms were above average size. The only negative was the headboards are not fastened to... More

Everything at this hotel was of the highest quality. The colonial restoration is a feast for the eyes with colorful tiles and antiques. The staff were informative, friendly, and caring. I'll be back here again!

Taking a long bus ride from LaCeiba was no fun, but walking into Casa Grande was an instant relief. Even though there was a bit of work being done in the foyer, the owner was gracious and attentive to our every need. The room was amazing! The most beautiful room I've stayed in---in Honduras, or anywhere, actually in Latin America.... More

I stayed a the Hotel Casa Grande during a surprise trip to Comayagua. I was warmly greeted by Ms. Lourdes who made my trip a memorable one. The night before I arrived I had been in Siguatepeque in a super-sketch hotel. I found the Hotel Casa Grande on tripadvisor and I was so glad I moved there! There is another... More

I stayed at the Hotel Casa Grande for two weeks in November 09. The staff is excellent, breakfast is included and is very good, and the location can't be beat. It's just two blocks from Comayagua's newly restored main square, where the cathedral is and where you'll find excellent restaurants and a coffee shop. More restaurants and nightlife are very...
