We had such an amazing time staying at Trudy's and divning with Underwater Vision. They have new facilities which means great rooms, comfortable beds, amazing location, clean bathroomw with hot water ALL the time, a cool chillout/ hammock area and incredible instructors. I stayed at Trudy's for 7 days in May, 2008. Trudy’s is affiliated with Underwater Vision diving (UV). For the following three reasons, they are hands down the BEST operation on UTILA. Our friend was referred to Hotel Trudy and Underwater Visions as the place to go in Utila. I was so glad we stayed here. It is the nicest place that I saw, the location is absolutely ideal. We discovered Trudy's upon arrival at Utila (they meet the ferry ) We were due to stay at another hotel but did not like the location. Trudy's was just a 5 minute walk to town (so its quiet at night). They offer either shared rooms with Shared bath or "Suites" with private bath, AC, microwave and a Fridge for $45.00... more
