We stayed here while diving at Utila dive centre for a week. We had the package with diving and food included. It was a bit pricy but really good. The food was really nice. The room had good aircon, a nice bed and a clean private bathroom.

A few friends and I got open water scuba certified at Utila Dive Centre which is linked to the Mango Inn and we were treated so well by everyone. We were upgraded to a cabana which air conditioned, beautiful and always stocked with water and coffee. The room was cleaned daily and the staff were on top of everything. The... More

Mango Inn was a great place to stay in Utila if you are looking for something decently priced, and close to town. The grounds are well maintained and provide a relaxing atmosphere among the mango trees and other lush foliage. The restaurant/bar is convenient and delicious! The deluxe room was very clean and spacious, with a beautiful deck that had... More

Stayed for a week at the Mango Inn on a return trip to Utila. I got a discount on an upgraded room (private room with en suite bathroom/shower) so this was a economical choice for me. The location is OK - it is about 15 minutes walk to Utila Dive Center but there is a shuttle that runs a couple... More

I had 4 days in the dorm included as part of a package at utila Diving Center. The location is nice, not in the main street, but not far. That helps a little bit with the quality of your sleep when you need it. The room was nice and comfortable. The first 2 nights there was another girl (the dorm... More

We stayed in the deluxe cabin for two weeks and it was perfect. We had a terrace with a hammock and table and chairs, air con, hot water, even a coffee machine! The hotel is filled with tropical trees and the restaurant has the best (brick oven!) pizzas on the island!

I stayed there for a week and a half while taking lessons at the Utila Dive Center and the room was part of the package for part of the time. I guess you can't expect too much with a free room, but it's too bad because on first glance this hotel is lovely, with pretty tropical grounds and a decent... More

The brick oven pizza, lobster, daily fish specials...perfect! The owner, Andre, is a pleasure to be around. I got to practice my Italian a bit with him (bonus). Good music, good people, and, perhaps most importantly, great food! It was hard to go anywhere else. Thanks, Andre.

On the exterior, the Mango Inn, with its swimming pool, outdoor restaurant and thick vegitation is very beautiful. The standard room that we had had damaged walls that were left unrepaired, mildewy pillows and worn out sheets and towels. We looked at a delux cabin. It was in better shape, but had a broken mirror and the same mildwy pillows.... More

We (couple 40 & 50 years old) stayed at Mango Inn one night in October 2013. Our room with a private bathroom was small and clean. The window screens were torn, the water pressure dropped to nothing off and on during showers and the provided “purified” water tasted terrible and made me sick. The hotel caters mostly to young people... More
