We just finished our 10 day stay at Deep Blue. When we went to dive our first day we had the pleasure of diving with Joshua and captain Carry. If Carry's laugh alone doesn't make you laugh than you don't know what funny is. I rented a BCD and regulater from Deep Blue and it was in horrible condition, along... More

I have been to Deep Blue four times.I go during whale sharks weeks in late March early April. The resort is small I believe 14 rooms. All rooms are quite nice ,the resort is very isolated yet a ten min boat ride to town. The boat,The Walnut, has the best Captain I have ever dove with.Swin can find a whaleshark 50 ft deep.He drops... I visited Deep Blue Resort last year Septmeber and enjoyed my stay immensely. At this time of year I preptty much had the resort and diving to myself. The accomodations were great, spacious and everything you can expect for the reasonable all inclusive price your paying which include three boat dives a day. The solitude and rest was much needed.... It has taken me months to submit this report because part of me wants to say something good about this place. I don't mind rugged experiences but I just feel I have to write something because I this was an overall unpleasant experience. We were shorted dives, and we weren't treated well enough overall. I have been to Utila previously... More

My husband and I just visited this resort with a dive group. We had the whole resort. The staff are great- rooms were kept cleaned and the cook Anna was great. The only problem is that we kept asking for fresh fish and native Honduran food since all we kept being served the first few nights was chicken and more... More

Arguably, Deep Blue has the best location of any of the other "all inclusive type" dive resorts in Utila. Besides the three dives per day package they offer, there is a great little reef right in front of the main building for unlimited shore diving. The rooms are spacous, the grounds well kept and equipment is high quality and in... More

Small family run hotel run by Steve and his mother Shirley who was fantastic and great company as well, there were 12 other people there at the time and... More

Returned from Deep Blue after a seven day stay. What a wonderful place to dive, snorkel, and make new friends. The rooms are big, spacious, and very clean. I am not a diver but loved the shore snorkeling. You can also go out on the boat with the divers and snorkel. Shirley was the best. All of our needs we're... More

This place is primitive so if your looking for a 5 star resort then don't stay here. That being said we enjoyed our stay all of the staff were friendly and we loved Shirley. If your looking for an adventure then this is the place for you. The diving was great Steve was our dive master he was very knowledgeable... More

We just returned from 10 days of wonderful diving in Utila from Deep Blue Resort, a lovely 10-unit resort dedicated to diving and whale shark research. The rooms are spacious and clean, with gorgeous ocean views. The location is isolated although only a short boat ride to town. Because the resort caters to scuba divers, mealtimes revolve around the boat... More
