All of the good reviews here for DBD turn out to be very outdated, as we found out the hard way. We had booked the 10 dives +accommodation package many months before, and we sent an email confirmation about a week before arriving. We were told we would be received at the ferry station, but upon arrival we found no... More

Where to start...disinterested staff, filthy facilities, dishes covered in feces of who knows what, cockroaches, water outages, terrible shower, filthy beds... Basically the worst place ever. The other guests were disgusting pigs who left a horrible mess, which didn't help either. We made a big mistake staying here and would have moved if the whole town wasn't booked for SunJam.... More

It was not so bad at all, but there is a lot of little details that make me this review. The staff wasn't welcoming, once the women was more concerned about her personnal skype call than ansering me, didn't take my name for a reservation I made for the dives just after lunch. The athmosfere is not bad, it just... More

I had a great time diving with deep blue. Frankie was a great instructor, very professional and really helped me feel comfortable under the water. We liked deep blue because it was a smaller more chill shop to dive with, if we wanted to party we could always go out, It's nice to have a quiet place to sleep when... More

I just finished doing my advanced diving courses with Deep Blue and had the time of my life! I was planning on just doing my open water course when I arrived in Utila, but I liked Deep Blue so much that I quickly decided I wanted to stay with them longer and learn more. I plan on returning to Utila... More

It was awesome having you! We all really enjoyed you and your relaxed energy :) Unfortunately we've had a few 4 student classes lately as it's become busier and busier lately but we still manage to provide outstanding personal attention :) We cannot wait for you to come visit again and get that Divemaster done :) More

Don't go ANYWHERE else, Deep Blue Divers is the best dive shop in Utila!!! I was on a strict traveling schedule to stay for four days only, but as it goes with most people who visit the island, I couldn't leave and now that I have I'm already planning my route back to Deep Blue Divers! The dive shop has... More

Hello, I had originally planned to dive almost 2 weeks with this shop. They promised north side dives and the greatest chances of whale shark encounters as well as decent priced diving packages. Every day they had a different excuse on why we did not go north. On the 4th day I had a discussion with the owner (shirley) and... More

We stayed there just two nights after being delayed, and regretted not being able to stay more. From the moment we emailed for advice, to the moment we left evrything was perfect. The staff are great, and even after 2 days we felt that we were amongst friends. A great attitude to diving - small shop, very few students/divers at... More

I did my open water with Deep Blue. They are a small shop (groups will not be more than 4) which allows you to have almost one to one attention .Also they are quiet responsible, experienced and friendly. It was great for me as I was apprehensive about the open water and having such a personalized atention made me relax... More
