you have to remember this is an island and if you know anything about islands it's the island way you must adapt to. the only thing that wasn't consistent was the wireless internet (thru no fault of theirs) and really who needs to be so connected when you're on holiday on an island anyway. we got exactly what we came... We planned to stay four nights but ended up staying eight... It's a really nice quite hotel with a lovely pool area, good breakfast (included) and a very helpful staff! Christian is the caretaker and he is really a star! Whatever we needed or asked he always helped in the way he could! It's not in the busy parts, which... More

We stayed here for one night when we arrived on Utila. Purely because we could book online and didn't want to be without accommodation. The place is in a nice location overlooking everything. It was expensive compared with other places on the island but did include breakfast which was plentiful. It's off season so we probably didn't see it at... More

We stayed at Colibri Hill for a little over a week and enjoyed our stay. The staff is friendly and helpful, and even helped us book a flight out of Utila when our ferry got canceled last minute. The property is gorgeous and well kept. I quite enjoyed sitting and reading on the third floor deck each morning, which has... More

I stayed here on my first night on the island to recover from my travelling in style. The room was large and beautiful, the porch area outside was a great place to chill with a few beers. A few negative points, one of the staff walked into my room while I was undressed, hastily apologised shut the door and then... More

Simple, clean and quiet . . . which is actually difficult to find in Honduras and Utila. If you like something a bit farther away from all the action and noise this is the place for you. Your room will have all the basics, clean comfortable bed, quality sheets. Our room appeared to have been freshly painted and the tile... More

We recently spent 4 nights at the colibri in Utila and found the location excellent, with a great view from the 3rd story level rooms and just far enough away from the sometimes noisy and busy main street business area.Breakfast which was included was very good and the service from Lucia and staff was excellent. They directed us to the good beaches... We had the privilege of staying at Colibri Hill at the end of February. What a beautiful place. Nice pool, wonderful landscaping and clean rooms! Rooms come with hot water. Air condition is an option, but you won't need it very often as the rooms have good ventilation. Great staff who were able to assist us with any needs or... More

We booked this place at the last min and was pleasantly surprised. We where a little worried when we pulled of the main road towards the hotel (a little dirty looking) but when we reached the hotel it was a small piece of heaven. Nice pool area with a little bar and clean upkept rooms. Our room was plenty big... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Colibri Hill on Christmas Eve and were so happy we chose this place. It is just a side street away from the main road but it's more secluded and private. We could hear the party music going on Christmas eve but I'm sure that was around the entire island. The next night was much... More
