I was with a group of 22 persons from our local dive club. The price we had gotten for the "off season" was too good to pass up. The resort is in need of a little fixing up, but as a whole it was very nice. The pool was nice but it seemed to be struggling a little to keep... More

We just came back from a week on Roatan, and despite being in the rainy season, we only saw a few showers, most of the days were gorgeous sunny and warm! I have to pre-fix this review by stating that we did not lodge at the resort, but we did spend 90% of the daylight time at the resort for... More

I rate the resort and dive operation as "excellent" primarily due to the value received for the cost of a full week of accommodations, meals and three dives per day. Is the resort's budget limited because of their low rates .... probably yes. That said, the entire staff works tirelessly to keep things going, fixing stuff best they can, and... More

I was there Sep 8 - 15th, I am a travel agent that specializes in scuba vacations. I see a lot of resorts all over the world and was very pleased with Turquoise Bay Resort. From the moment we got through security at the airport the staff at TBR was htere to handle everything. I do not think I picked... More

I took a large group of scuba divers to stay at the Turquoise Bay Resort for a week of diving. There where 39 of us total, including three younger divers. The resort is located on a very quite private beach about 20 minutes from the airport. Being on the opposite end of the island from all the "West End" activities,... More

My wife and I stayed here in Room #16 September 15-22, 2012 as part of a group of almost 40. We were met at the airport by two buses for our folks and a separate vehicle for our luggage, which included dive gear for each of us. The drivers and laborers who met us got us loaded and on the... More

Our family’s favorite private beach resort yet with a great spread out design that compliments the natural vegetation. Beach and pool offered safe fun for our six year old daughter and plenty of room to walk around and enjoy the tropical views. The staff was friendly and attentive, but sometimes a little slow which reminded us we were on vacation... More

I visited Turquoise Bay Resort from August 15-29th 2012. The resort is small however what it lacks for in size it makes up for in hospitality. The personnel are very accommodating and are focused on providing top notch service. I have been to many resorts in the south and the quality of the food at Turquoise Bay was superior. Quality... This is a great place as long as you realize that you are visiting a developing country with infrastructure limitations and a laid-back pace to life. The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. Service was slow by American standards, but if you anticipate this, you acclimate to the island's pace and it becomes a real vacation. The staff did... More

I just spent a week at the Resort diving and relaxing while Hurricane Ernesto pounded the Caribbean. The resort staff were hard working and professional. The facility was clean and the food was very good. Since we were a big dive group, we were served buffet style. There were plenty of options to satisfy picky eaters, and always some local... More
