Villagio Verde is true paradise on this island. Although this is a Bed and Breakfast, Ton and Zilla go well above and beyond the call of duty. It is located only minutes away by taxi from the East End, and the cost of the ride is about $1.50 US per person. Our vacation started with an airport pick-up by Ton,... more

It is a nice and calm place to stay. Far away from the noise of the west end yet close enough to get there in less than 5 minutes by taxi. Ton & Zilla were great hosts and do everything themselves from the cooking to the changing of the linens. The only thing we advise to anyone who stays there... more

We spent three weeks at a sweet B&B called Villegeo Verde - located on the beautiful island of Roatan, Honduras. We loved waking up every morning to a big bowl of fresh fruit, juice and coffee being served on the porch, followed by a hearty breakfast that stuck with us through our diving and snorkeling filled days! The host and... more

If you are looking for a nice place to stay, go to Villagio Verde at Roatan. We have just returned from Roatan, Honduras. With the assistance of Ton & Zilla at Villagio Verde Bed & Breakfast we were able to become acquainted with our surroundings and what activities were available to us from first hand experience. Once you enter the gated property you are impressed with a beautiful garden. Villagio Verde has been built on the... more

My boyfriend & I stayed at Villagio Verde for 3 nights in late December 2008 -- It was my first and his second trip to Roatan -- We were staying on the island for more than a week and we wanted to mix it up with lodging in different places. We picked Villagio Verde based on its setting outside of... more

I'm really surprised by some of these reviews. We did not enjoy it that much. Whereas the owner was nice and the grounds were pretty, the room was cramped, dark, and not very well-appointed. There was so little light in the room we had to sit on the porch at night in order to read. The place is not on... more

We were surprised to see this review because nobody ever complained during their stay with us. Although we can not change expectations, we can do our best to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Also we never claimed on our website nor our emails to be on or near the beach or to have a restaurant. So hopefully in...

Hosts Ton & Zilla and their two special dogs Biacca & Busse offer cabanas outside West End Roatan for the traveler looking for something off the strip. Their hospitality is matched by their love for the area and their local knowledge. They are gracious hosts and care about their guests. The kitchen availability makes this a wonderful choice for the... more

Villagio Verde is a beautiful place to stay, far enough from the center of town to be able to get away from it all but close enough to be able to walk to West End in just over 10 minutes. If you don't want to walk, a minute wait outside the gates and a taxi is sure to come by.... more

We spent a few days here and would come back next time in Roatan. Tony and Zilla's place is a couple of kilometers outside of West End in a secure and pleasant spot. Getting into town is very easy - either by walking or by omnipresent taxi. Nice combination of being near, but not in, town. The rooms are simple... more
