COCO VIEW Review Stayed for seven nights, May 23-30. HOTEL TRANSFER SERVICE TO AND FROM AIRPORT: Someone (Nora) was waiting inside the airport with a Coco View sign. We were directed to a nearby AC van The drive to the boat is about 20 minutes. Boat ride was about 5 minutes. CHECK-IN: Upon arriving at the dock, someone meets you... more

Stayed here with a group of fellow divers who took over the resort. When I heard no t.v., no room service, cafeteria style restaurant and iffy internet service, I was leery. However we had a great time. Patti at the dive shop takes great care of the guests. I had to see her due to an reverse ear blockage, and... more

My wife and I just returned from a week long stay at CoCo View, 4/11 - 18. Our home for the week was over ocean cabana #9 just a few steps from the clubhouse along a path (well lit at night) that had the ocean lapping at it and from which you could see a few of the ocean creatures... more

Just returned from a 12 day stay at Coco View resort—the first time for us. I have always found trip advisor reviews helpful—so thought I would add our comments. We are two couples who rented Beach House 12 (Casa de Flamingo) and dove daily. The house was perfect for us—light and roomy, great screened porch facing the ocean, lots of... more

This is a great dive resort. If you're not diving, stay home! It is small and therefore personal. At the end of the trip you will know most of the staff, including owners and chef. It is all about diving and the diving is fantastic! The rooms are not luxurious but if you like hearing the ocean under your bed... more

My first dive vacation location: Coco View Resort was perfect. We came to dive and that is what they do best. It helped that the weather was perfect. I did 20 dives in one week. My husband did 24. The shore diving was a delightful benefit. I really benefited from diving the Coco View Wall and Newman's Wall (the walls... more

We stayed at CoCo View for 5 nights. From 29 November - 4 Dec. We boarded an over-water bungalow which was clean and well maintained. Hot water, air conditioning (which we did not use due to the season), porch over the bay and a hammock. the beds were very comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows The dining and bar... more

Just returned from CoCo View Resort. My husband's an avid diver and said the diving was just OK. I'm not a diver and found the resort lacking. The food's just all right and didn't like the fact that there's no pool or beach. The worst was our cabana. It was dirty and the bathroom was grimey and scummy. We had... more

We have been to Guanaja 3 different times and had always heard that Roatan was "over" crowded, so we arrived from Guanaja with reservations. We were not expected at the airport but we did find the driver and it all worked out. At the resort we found our rooms (4 in our party) and settled in since we were not... more

Our dive club took over Cocoview from 7-4-2008 to 7-12-2008. I personally spent 17.5 hours under water over the course of 23 dives. Very nice staff overall. Here are my notes - The room was nice. We had an over water room and it was neat with a nice view. The bed was comfortable and the AC was good (a... more
