First time in Roatan. My boyfriend and I were looking for a quiet location for diving and snorkeling. This was the perfect location. Dennis and Marcia are very gracious hosts. Before I arrived Marcia had sent detailed information regarding Roatan, fun things to do, various attractions, the best places to eat. After we got there we enjoyed snorkeling and kayaking... More

I booked this for a quiet few days before we left from a two week vacation. After 4 days in the west end and 5 days on utlia this is what the doctor ordered. Don't get me wrong we still kayaked to Hole in the wall,Mcnabbs and BJ's but we didn't do that 1 or 2 in the morning stuff.... More

I am an avid snorkeler and was searching for a place where I could swim to the coral reef from shore. Castaways Cove was perfect, and the free use of kayaks to go to other spots or visit restaurant, store or resorts was amazing. Hosts Marcia and Dennis Quinn were great -- pointing out great places on the island, helping... More

We stayed in the boat house from 9/21/2013 to 9/28/2013. Rented a car to get around the island. The house and porch are over the water. Very relaxing in the morning and evening. Nice quiet cove with a great view. Good snorkeling in the cove and at the mouth of the cove. A water taxi (Marvin) is available to take... More

We stayed in the boathouse for 2 weeks with our teenage son. We had the best trip ever but maybe too long. We did not rent a car and may have been too isolated. The Good: Amazing Snorkeling just a short kyack trip. The coral wall is breathtaking and so wonderful to see everyday. Quiet and private place to stay... More

My husband and I spent a week here with another couple who flew in from Montreal. Before our arrival, we worried a bit about its isolation but Marcia and Dennis’s place exceeded expectations. We had a wonderful week there with our friends. One couple stayed in the villa and the other in the boathouse, and we took turns hosting meals.... More

My husband and I stayed there for 8 days in April. I absolutely agree with everything written in two following reviews. We went together with Dennis to Oakridge BJ"s bar right on the water where we drank beer and listened to the expats' band. We had a great time!

My husband and I stayed in the 1 bedroom boat house for two months in Fall 2010 and absolutely fell in love with our Honduran home. It has a great big livingroom, comfortable furnishings, a full kitchen and the best part: huge windows and a glorious deck with a view of the quiet and nearly untouched bight. We enjoyed swimming...
