The staff was really nice. Sylvia and Phillip are really good people and conversational. They will though respect your silence. We went as a large group from a major university in Pennsylvania, and they accommodated us. They catered to all our needs and made sure we were ok at all times. The staff were very friendly, informative and helpful. The hotel was comfortable, clean and quiet. Beach is right next to property and there are some good snorkeling spots within a 15 minute walk. The included breakfast was great and different local dishes were served daily.

The pirates den offered a safe and applicable living atmosphere while still being right in the middle of all the culture the island of roatan has to offer without any sacrafice.
