In search of a destination that was both remote and affordable (a thousand each for five nights, incl. airfare and meals), we came upon a write up in Conde Nast Traveller for the 60 Best Islands. The Bay Islands were featured for August with special mention of West Peak Inn for the traveler looking for a Robinson Crusoe type experience.... more
