We just arrived home after staying at his hotel for one week. We stayed there as a "Marriott time share." We were disappointed in the maintenance of the pool areas. The pools were not clean and there were many broken tiles in the pool. I witnessed a little girl who cut her foot in the pool on a broken tile.... More

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with my girlfriend on all-in plan. We really enjoyed this place, it was clean, quiet, food was decent (salads, fresh fruit, variety of meat, desert). The personnel doesn't speak English but they were so helpful, especially people by the bar. Rooms are nothing special, an average hotel rooms including TV and AC. In... More

We have stayed here 3 times before and it has always been good. The food is tasty and plentiful. The drinks are good too. This time the facilities were a bit disappointing. The kid pool was closed and every time we asked we heard "mañana". That made the daughter happy. The TV did not work, but was fixed promptly. We... More

We stayed in the club premier , it was an exchange through interval international. I was celebrating my birthday, wanted all inclusive which was 40$/day. The was fresh fruits, meats and one day they had only foods from Guatemala. We probably drank more than 40$ in alcohol a day. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, most of them did not... More

The hotel itself is quite nice and offers many different activities during the weekends. Unfortunately it also requires a lot of maintenance, everything is kept to a minimum standard and the staff is completely demotivated. Our first room had a terrible view towards some pipes which also were making a lot of noise. After talking to a receptionist we got... More

I recently visited the Soleil Pacific, and is so sad to see so beautiful hotel being in very bad conditions. First surprise was to get stuck in the elevator, then surprise surprise, no A/C in the unit. And finally all my family is sick now because of the swimming pool water they developed ear infection.

PROs: The hote is very nice and covery a huge area and has 2 nice and clean swimming pools and is located directly at a nice pacific beach, which seems endless and quiet. The rooms are really nice and have everything to European standard you would expect for the price. CONs: The staff was not so useful. Especially the ones... More

Okay....so this is probably our 18th exchange with Interval International to various locations around the world with children in tow. This area of Guatemala sounded good...great black sand beaches, quiet area, etc...we wanted a rest from all of the hustle and bustle occurring right before spring break with school, work, and sports competition. With my husband, and 14 and 11... More

Had a few days here but asked to be transferred to Antigua(weeks timeshare) which they accomodated easily (nice staff here) -nothing much to do in the area, black sand and not many shade areas on the beach. The place is really run down, a contrast to their Antigua resort, and the floors in our room were never mopped just swept... More

I would give to the rooms at this hotel not more then 3 star. Very poor, need to be renovated. Very good territory, with beautiful trees and plants. Very good meal. The hotel's territory is extended by the territory with private villas, so, there is a lot of place to walk. Pleasant staff. Our balcony has pool side, but it... More
