I has a sondo suite at Soleil, they have both an all inclusive package but the condo units have kitchens, though basic. The units have nice but plain furnishings, plywood cabinets, hand made lamps, simple and basic counters, the most basic kitchenware you will ever see. shortcomings include things like no ice cube trays and no ice maker, a two... We spent two weeks in this hotel. We had one bedroom villa and it was very nice and spacious with kitchen. The majority of the staff did not speak/understand English at all, but it was not a big problem, because there was almost always somebody who could help us. The staff was anyway very friendly and helpful. The location of... More

Overall the hotel was excellent. the staff was fantastic, and several of them spoke English. This was a big plus since my Spanish is very limited. There are 2 things that I could complain about. The hot water was very limited, and the internet or WIFi was spotty at best. I will definitely stay again. The food on the menu... More

We picked this place for our CONVIVIO on Saturday December 5th, 2015 (Company Christmas Party) having our people from Medelling, USA, Mexico join us. The service was great, food, drink and all good.. which it was expected after spending about $15K on lodging but.. at the time of check out I was charged Q25 for not returning the key for... More

We went there looking forward to spend a quiet and relaxed weekend. Don't be fooled by the all inclusive since practically is made so that you can't enjoy it most of the time. They have several bar which change of service hours that make you change of places several times. The main bar had an awful smell that one could... More

This was by far the WORST stay that me and my loved one had on our 11 day trip to Guatemala. To start not 1 person in the entire staff could speak english (not even a little bit) or so they would continually tell me as I would try to get help for things like a broken sliding glass door... More

We have family in Guatemala, and when we visit we like to spend weekends on the exhilarating black-sand Pacific coast. This year the Monterrico resorts where we like to stay were either full or closed for repairs, so we decided to try the Hotel Soliel Pacífico. Oh boy. Mistake. H.S. Pacífico advertises as a beach resort but downplays the presence... More

Everytime that I have been to Puerto San Jose, we have always gone as a group, therefore we would pick the bungalow option. A fun trip to the supermarket some fresh seafood, some fresh fruit, don't forget the coconuts and you're set for a few days. Unfortunately the beach isn't exactly the safest for swimming but the pool option and... More

We travelled here with the Great Britain Biathle team and my expectations were low after reading a number of the reviews. We would recommend the hotel, the people where friendly, the rooms were a very good size and clean the food was ok. Certainly if you were doing a tour of Guatemala's sites and wanted a few days on the... More
