Take a boat ride from Rio Dulce station downwards the river, and end up in this lost paradise. Located at the river ends next to the Caribbean. This is being peaceful far from the busy world. Great rooms with river and Caribbean View, great bathroom. Luscious gardens for strolls and relaxing, Take a beer sit on one of the many... More

The hotel is fine, but it could be better. The TV in the room is a 12 inch dated, not even flat screen TV. The A/C lacks a temperature control. All you get is a on and off switch. The restaurant is not as good and for the firs two nights I had to pay a higher rate because dinner... More

We had a lovely room overlooking the best view to Rio Dulce. They welcomed us with a tasty Cocoloco that we drank on the nice balcony. Waking up to the wonderful scenery was amazing! Breakfast was ok but I don't recommend dinner. No wifi in the room, only at reception.

Livingston can only be reached by boat and is very different from the rest of Guatemala. The hotel amply reflects this unusual and charming location. Set above the esturay of the Rio Dulce it has wonderful views across the water. Below the rooms is a swimming pool and a beach whilst the town is on the doorstep in the other... More

Stayed here last night for one night as part of a tour. Quirky might describe it !! It was clean and our room looked over the water and pool. Ate in restaurant for dinner, this was fine. We did have our tour guide with us.......not sure if it made a difference ?? Breakfast was ok.........not the best on the trip... More

We didn't stay at this hotel but we did eat dinner here. It's a lovely spot and the breeze on the terrace was really pleasant. The hotel restaurant is luxurious and we were excited to eat there at first. However, the service was slow. We were the only ones there but they took forever to take our order and bring... More

First, the little bungalow we had was nicely appointed, roomy and almost built right into the cliff over looking the water. We could not have asked for a nicer place. But, I am not sure how anyone with disabilities could navigate this hotel. It is a beautiful location, but you arrive at the dock and have a HUGE hike up... More

We arrive after a boat tip down and some bird watching on the river (the Great White Egrets were in glorious full breeding dress). The keys to our rooms were waiting for us and we were very quickly installed in our rooms or bungalows. Out bungalow was quite spacious and well lit, a quaint point being the conch yells that... We were on a 3-week tour of The Lost World of the Mayans with a small group (9) and stayed here 2 nights. Our room had a balcony overlooking the river. Livingston reminded us of when we were in Nevis, the West Indies, over 50 years ago. You come to Livingston for the boat ride on the river, seeing the... More
