If you want to get close to the local mayan population and have a truly genuinely Guatemalan experience, this is definitely the place to go. Visiting this village was a great, interesting, and fun experience! I highly recommend visiting. We visited for the day, first stopping with our guide at the seven alters nearby. Hotel flor de maya is runned by a local comunity nearby Livingston in the middle of the jungle.
