Rancho Grande Inn is a great place to stay as a family. The room we stayed in, #10, was roomy and nicely decorated. The green areas were perfect for picnics and for little ones to play. The pool and play area were so nice. The breakfast was amazing. The price seemed a bit steep but I would definitely stay there... More

We have stayed here four different times while doing volunteer work for Portland Oregon based Child-Aid. Each time has been wonderful with great service. Breakfasts are special with their own pancakes. One year my husband and others in our group became ill. The hotel was so helpful keeping us supplied with liquids and tender loving care. We have enjoyed our... More

Another return to Pana and the Rancho Grande. As always,, the service was good and the staff gracious. Stayed 4 nights and just relaxed. Well located to everything. Seems like a safe spot. Tried several hotels in Pana,, price vs quality,,, I prefer this hotel.

The rooms/cabins are nicely designed and spacy and is really nice to be in. It only has 15 rooms, which are in a nice setting. The main issue why it only deserves three stars is the bathroom: too small (shower area is 0.75 x 0.75 meter) and the water heater is a 20+ year old gas heater which is outside... More

This property has great grounds, but needs an overhaul. We had no hot water, the wi-fi was as good as useless. We were adjacent to a busy side street that was a bit noisy. Otherwise comfortable little cottage. Breakfast was good, the server was delightful; pancakes excellent.

Lovely breakfast and early morning place to eat that I happened on while in town. It will be some time before I am able to get back and would love to visit them again. I have been trying to get the recipe for their wonderful fluffy pancakes!! No one in the kitchen to ask as to how to make them.... More

I have stayed at Rancho Grande Inn on several different occasions. Each time I have found it to be immaculate, tranquil, yet close to the may drag and the action. The large grounds are beautiful and perfectly maintained. The single or double rooms are not the least expensive in Panajachel, but they are very reasonable ($45-$65) and they come with... More

I went with a group. I stayed in Room #2, which reminded me of a room in a 1960's fleabag hotel along a major highway in the US. The room definitely needed updating. The bathroom walls were so thin that I actually had a conversation with another guest when I turned on the shower. The double rooms seemed to be... More

I find myself returning to this comfortable hotel time and again. The staff are friendly and helpful. The beds are comfy and the bath is roomy (except #4.) I like to try new places but, I love dependable comfort. The dried eucalyptus leaves from the tree in the yard are pleasant. The fireplaces present in some of the rooms are... More

The staff are warm and friendly if overworked and underpaid at this 1940s bed and breakfast. The grounds are lovely and the pool is nice and a good playground by the pool if you have children. The breakfast is good and hearty and good hours to enjoy it. Tuk tuks - small golf cart taxis are less than a dollar.... More
