Hotel el sol is a tiny bit out of town but it is definitely worth the stay. The prices here are amazingly reasonable. It is only 15 min walking distance from town and a quick 5min tuk-tuk ride (5q per person). The owner is very friendly and helpful. He keeps the hotel extremely clean and the private rooms had maid... More

This has to be the best hotel at Lake Atitlan. The place is spotless inside out. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There is hot water in the shower and no time restrictions when you can take a hot shower. The kitchen is clean and well-equipped. It is not that far away from Centro or the docks. You can... More

The Japanese-lead hotel is on the outskirts of Panajachel, a 10 min walk or a 10Q mototaxi ride from the centre. There is nothing around and the place itself is somewhat quiet, too. Spacy and clean rooms, big bathroom, wifi and cable TV plus a common rooftop terrace will make your stay pleasant enough. Staff is helping you out in... More

We only stayed here one night, but that's not a reflection of the hotel, rather just our travel plans for the city. However, would highly recommend to anyone & would stay here again in the future if in the area. It is outside the city center but within walking distance or taxi if your feeling lazy. The area might look... More

This hostel is located about 10-15 minutes walk out of Calle Santander, right on the edge of town which is a little inconvenient especially in the rain as the restaurants are a bit far. However, it is extremely nice and clean (like every other Japanese hostel I've ever stayed in) which makes the walk worth it, and there is a... More

This little hotel is clean, quiet, friendly, and out of the general yuk that is Panajachel. There is a free coffee bar and a well stocked and reasonable little store across the street. The closest restaurant is La Casona right down the street where Lessie does a nice job at a fair price. The tuktuk drivers will haul you around... More

This hotel was perfect for a small group of students with several options for putting more than 2 people in a room. It was clean and quiet and the owner was very helpful. It was also very safe with lots of security and the rooftop view of the volcano was a perfect way to start the morning.

This hotel is clean, the staff are very nice and it's location is good. It's not down the main strip but a pleasant walk or 10Q in a tuc tuc. The rooms are pretty basic but have Mayan bed linen, hot showers, toiletries and wifi so everything you need! Coffee making facilities are also complimentary. A great hotel to stay... More

I have stayed here on my way through Lake Atitlan several times. The place is super clean, quiet and secure. It is out of Pana but the walk back and forth is lovely and Tuk Tuk's for 5 Q per person pass by regularly if you are tired of walking. Also the you can order Japanese food from the owners... More

Everything was just perfect! The owners were lovely Japanese people and we had a really large, clean room. The staff was extremely helpful and the place was completely spotless! The hotel is a little far from city center, about a 15 minute walk or a 2 minute tuk-tuk ride. Location has the advantage that there is peaceful and quiet. We... More
