We spent 5 nights and the Playa Linda and loved it. It's an older hotel but has a lot of charm and great location. It's a bit removed from the chaos of Calle Santander (the main street in Panajachel), but still close enough to walk there (or take a tuk-tuk). The hotel has a small pool and a lush, beautiful... We stayed in 2 different rooms, 3 and 2. Both had balconies overlooking the lake, fire places, shower only bathroom, drinking water supplied and cable TV with many US channels. Room 2 had a very comfortable double bed. The place could have been cleaner. It was located about 10 minutes walk from the town. Some members of staff spoke English.

Right on the lake and this is a wonderful location, away from the street crammed with hotels and shopping stalls. The flowers and birds in the garden are lovely. The staff helped me with my questions, not a word of English, but not a warm or friendly response at all. The rooms were nice and clean and nice hot showers... More

It's a great place, near the lake and Santander's street. Beautiful and have a good attention. A 3 levels hotel. And perfect view. Totally recommended to be with friends or family, or couples too :)!!

The other reviews gave an accurate picture. It is an older hotel and shows the wear but is clean, friendly and perfectly located. We loved waking up to the sounds of the birds in the garden and the amazing lake and volcanoes views. We had wonderful soft sheets and a comfortable bed. There is even a small pool for hot... More

We had a great experience. The staff was very accommodating even with limited English. When we asked where the laundry mat was, they told us but then offered to do our clothes for a reasonable price. This gave us an extra hour to go play. There is some noise from neighboring rooms. But overall it was peaceful. It is very... More

This hotel overlooks Lago Atitlan, and is the furthest hotel down the lake side from the main street...which can be good or not. As a solo traveler, I didn;t like the lonely hike back at night, if I went to the restaurants on the main street...so I took a tuktuk... it is near all the seaside restaurants, which all vie... Rooms are on the 2nd floor with garden or lake view. Wake up with the birds and enjoy the views at sunrise. Must upgrade to lake view rooms. 150 feet away from Lake restaurants most close by 7 pm and pier is very close. Main shopping street is only a short walk away. High speed Internet. Cable tv with English... More

The hotel used to be a pretty building with a nice view of the vulcanoes around the lake and a central location. The view and location are still quite good, but in my opinion these don't compensate the dusty rooms, not to mention the spiderwebs which are settled in almost every corner of the room. If you are afraid of... More

This is a very special hotel in Pana with the nicest staff, a nice, little garden, and great rooms. The garden is full of beautiful flowers and they have a some birds- one being a talking parrot. He's shy when you talk to him, but you will hear him from time to time. The rooms are kept very clean, have... More
