This hostel is pretty good for Guatemala standards. It's nothing fancy, but clean and nice if you want a cheap place. There is parking for a vehicle, but just one other than the owner's. The wifi didn't work when we came, but I just restarted the router on the little patio upstairs, and it started working. Rooms 19 and 20... More

I had been recommended this hotel by a fellow traveler and since it was just for one night,we gave it a shot. Location was fine, they had safe parking for my motorcycle and it was clean. Those were the good. The room was tiny, there was no hot water and even if there was the shower head was so messed... More

I stayed at Hotel Sueno Real for one night, and found the family who runs the hotel very helpful and friendly. The room was incredibly clean and there was excellent WIFI. It was a very good deal for the money and a great location- near the beach in Panajachel.

It´s not the closest hotel to the bus stop, but it´s nicely located in 2nd row to the lake side (on the roof terrace you have a brilliant view on the lake Atitlán), the personnel is extremely friendly, and the rooms are nicely decorated. We stayed on first floor, so needed to go downstairs or to 2nd floor terrace to... More

Comfortable room with cable TV, bathroom and comp water. Water pressure not so good and be sure to check the hot water is on before getting in the shower! Wall fan too noisy to use. Took a third floor so could step out onto the well furnished terrace, which unfortunately shares the music from the restaurant next door. Lake view... More

It is a pretty and capably run hostel. There is a computer in the office that clients can use. They have a laundry service (Q10/lbs) and will brew a nice cup of coffee for a few coins. Katrina, the friendly Mayan lady, speaks some English and understands quite a lot, as do her daughters. There is a nice terrace with... More

My friend found this place walking around the area. Very near the promenade next to the lake and many restaurants nearby. Rooms were large enough, clean, nicely decorated. There was a large communal patio which was lovely to sit in and relax. Owner and her children were extremely friendly and called a tuk-tuk for us when we needed a ride... More
