The hostel is the best place, to get in and out of Guatemala! The atmosphere is amazing and great place to relax. As, I was saying your in historical center of Guate. Close to the airport and main bus terminals. Not to forget the famous chicken buses. The price is very affordable P.S. there's free pancakes for breakfest

We've stayed in a private room, which was big and clean and cost us $12 per person. Clean bathrooms with warm water, and even though there seemed to only be 3, I never waited for more than 2 minutes. The staff members are all really nice and helpful, don't speak much English but enough to help you out, and anyway... More

Most backpackers will say that you should skip Guate and go straight to Antigua (Guatemala's Disneyland). Give Guatemala City a chance; it's an extremely cosmopolitan city that has a wide array of food, people, cultural spots, and good public transportation (the new TransMetro bus system). Theatre International is a perfect place to stay; it's laid-back, affordable, well-situated (next to a... More

Nice place to stay. Nice people, nice location in the city center. The mattress is good, there are curtains around the bed to have privacy, electricity and light for each light. Hot shower, clean and nice. Nice place to stay

This is an excellent hostel and not expensive for G city. The dorm has big comfy beds, the staff are super nice, a posh breakfast of maple syrup pancakes and strawberries is provided free. Free wifi. No annoying pointless rules, nice atmosphere.

Stayed three nights while sorting out passport requirements. Nice place, good breakfast, strong WiFi, reasonable security, and friendly staff. It is a bit of a party atmosphere so be aware there is music and revelry until 11pm or so.

I stayed here for a night and the staff was very helpful, the place was nice and the breakfast was good. It is also just a block away from monja Blanca bus station which is great if you plan to go to semuc champey and 4 blocks from Fuente Del norte that can take you to tikal.

It's a $10 taxi ride from the Airport and located in historical downtown zone 1. They were putting in a hot tub as I was there so a little construction noises but nothing major. They give you a map of zone 1 which includes a walking tour and is close to the markets which has a range of amazing products.... More

Stopped here for a night on our way to San Salvador. Walked up and they had two beds for us in the 14bed mixed dorm. Two full bathrooms, efficient wifi, locked doors, no lockers in the room, kitchen to use, breakfast included and hot water. NOT BAD for $8USD.
