I have definitely enjoyed staying in the hotel though it was just for one night. The breakfast in the hotel is great, the internet connection is reasonable. The staff in the hotel was also really helpfull although a bit of Spanish will help greatly. The hotel is near the main square and if you are coming for example from Flores... More

The front desk guy was so friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable and just what I needed for a one night stay before my flight the next day. It isn't anything fancy and the people in the room next to mine were quite loud, but it is a great option for something cheap and clean. They called me a... More

Basic rooms and bathrooms (very hot showers if you want to!), okay sized. Location is nice. Easy reachable with the (safe) transmetro buses (e,g from centrasur to plaza barrios, and then walk a few blocks). Close to the main avenue with all big shops, so during the day walking is fine and fun to do. It is next to the... More

I always find that I stay in two hotels at the same time. The first is the people, and the second is the building. I cannot possibly say too many nice things about the people at the Hotel Ajau, except to thank every one of them for making me feel so welcome. I want them to understand how much I... More

Just stayed here for one night after 16 hours of flight. I thought I would have a good night sleep but it is impossible in this hotel. My room opened on an interior patio. It gives you the possibility to hear anything happening in the hotel : people speaking loud at 12 PM, some guys snoring next door, or peeing... More

Nothing to complain about, excellent value for money. If you are sensitive to street noise, try and ask for a quite room. Water for free is available to refill your bottles. Security was good, there is a person at the gate 24/7.

Great budget hotel in centro area, Zona 1. I would recommend it since its convenient, close to transmetro bus and bus #83 going back to airport. We stayed there 3 nights 4 days, every morning 6-9 am had Guatemalan style breakfast (2 eggs, cheese, beans, tortillas), great value. Downside: noisy if you have a window, nobody cleans room daily...We had... More

This is an old hotel in the historic part of the city. I wouldn't recommend walking around at night, but during the day we were fine, and saw police on each block. A few blocks away there is a street that was closed to traffic with shops, a mall, and historic buildings. The hotel itself is older and rustically decorated.... More

I stayed at the hotel in December 2013 and left my camera there by mistake. I only realised this when I'd reached another country and so contacted the hotel to see if they could find it. They did and I offered to pay the postage to send it to me. Instead the hotel arranged and paid for the postage of... More
