You are stuck on this property -- and if you want to stay in your room all day, that's great, because the rooms and screened verandas are gorgeous. Sweet young staff, for the most part. But if you want to leave -- well, every offsite activity will cost you a pretty penny, adding up to the price of the room... More

Thank you for taking the time to give your feedback. I am very sorry to read that your visit did not meet your expectations. While we do offer many optional tours, we also offer many that are complimentary, which I hope that you were able to experience. Our remote location can be a draw for many looking for a peaceful... I am at a loss for words to describe my visit to Belcampo, but paradise is a good start. We had a ridge suite, which was nothing short of pure luxury. The room was beautifully appointed and the view was amazing. I wanted to import everything back with me because it was exactly my style. Modern, comfortable, and it just... More

Belcampo Lodge is an amazing place, from the natural beauty to the incredible food and hospitality. What they have crafted in a relatively remote jungle setting is inspirational. The staff are all clearly happy to be there, and their enjoyment shows in everything they do. I can't say enough good things about Belcampo, and hope that I am able to... More

My husband and I went there because Chef Renee is AMAZING. Not only that, but nestled in the jungle you can tour caves, snorkel, kayak or just lounge. The staff is so friendly and sincere. I can't wait to go back.

Just spent two nights at this terrific eco-agri hotel atop a scenic hill with an above-the-treetop 360*view of the Punta Gorda region. The amenities and staff were outstanding and the food top quality fresh - literally direct from the hotel's extensive vegetable gardens to our dining table. The Chef even came by to make sure everything was prepared to our... More

My wife and I just spent 4 days in Belcampo with our 16 year old daughter and her BFF. Simply put, it was an amazing vacation and we can't wait to go back. It is a quality resort that is not easily found in many places, much less, nestled on the side of a hill in the jungle. The staff... More

This is a really fabulous place in a magical jungle setting above the Rio Grande.Sadly we only spent 1 night there but did canoe down the Rio Grande which was well worth it. The lift from the river was not working so the climb up the steps was good exercise. The rooms are well appointed and the wood and furnishings... More

We just spent 5 days at the Belcampo Lodge with our two teens and another family of four. Our only regret is that our stay wasn't longer. We stayed in the beautiful Ridge Suites with a private horizon pool. The accommodations were very comfortable and the scenery was beautiful. The staff took care of our every need. They were very... I am a naturalist and I found the surroundings: vegetation, birds, wildlife, flowers, etc. to be an inspiration. The natural, local food was excellent and the rum drinks divine! All the people were wonderful and our trips on the river with staff were unique.

The long trip from NYC to Belcampo was forgotten as soon as we set foot inside what would be a magical unforgettable place, and the site of both our wedding and TWO permit catch and releases. It gives me such pleasure to sing the praises, like a native song bird, of this paradise sanctuary. What a gem Belcampo is, tucked... More
