The staff...excellent The food.....excellent Our vacation...the best ever. Macahca Hill surpassed all our expectations for Belize. the property was well managed, tours well put together and we especailly enjoyed the environmental initiatives in place there to protect the 11,000 acres for future generations. It was worth the visit... more

Getting to Punta Gorda is a bit of an adventure - but I always find that venturing off the beaten track provides the best experiences in life. Machaca Hill did not disappoint - the lodge, surrounding area, restaurant/bar, staff, rooms and facilities are all first-class.
