Just spent two nights at this terrific eco-agri hotel atop a scenic hill with an above-the-treetop 360*view of the Punta Gorda region. The amenities and staff were outstanding and the food top quality fresh - literally direct from the hotel's extensive vegetable gardens to our dining table. The Chef even came by to make sure everything was prepared to our... More

My wife and I just spent 4 days in Belcampo with our 16 year old daughter and her BFF. Simply put, it was an amazing vacation and we can't wait to go back. It is a quality resort that is not easily found in many places, much less, nestled on the side of a hill in the jungle. The staff... More

This is a really fabulous place in a magical jungle setting above the Rio Grande.Sadly we only spent 1 night there but did canoe down the Rio Grande which was well worth it. The lift from the river was not working so the climb up the steps was good exercise. The rooms are well appointed and the wood and furnishings... More

We just spent 5 days at the Belcampo Lodge with our two teens and another family of four. Our only regret is that our stay wasn't longer. We stayed in the beautiful Ridge Suites with a private horizon pool. The accommodations were very comfortable and the scenery was beautiful. The staff took care of our every need. They were very... I am a naturalist and I found the surroundings: vegetation, birds, wildlife, flowers, etc. to be an inspiration. The natural, local food was excellent and the rum drinks divine! All the people were wonderful and our trips on the river with staff were unique.

The long trip from NYC to Belcampo was forgotten as soon as we set foot inside what would be a magical unforgettable place, and the site of both our wedding and TWO permit catch and releases. It gives me such pleasure to sing the praises, like a native song bird, of this paradise sanctuary. What a gem Belcampo is, tucked... More

I just returned from a week in Belize and I am so glad & grateful that we started our adventure at Belcampo Lodge. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the friendly staff and their lovely Executive Chef Rene, who informed me that she is also on a gluten-free diet and was happy to tailor my meals accordingly. The cuisine throughout... More

Belcampo Lodge is the epitome of luxury, and not just for a saltwater fly fishing destination. The deluxe suites bordered on decadence, the food and adult beverages were first-rate, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. For fishermen, the allure of southern Belize is its abundant numbers of large permit. Belcampo was no exception. A fishing buddy and I had... More

This was a great couples trip,we felt like kids again on a jungle adventure! The food and service here is top notch, I highly recommend the garden fresh organic cocktails! We loved being perched in the trees looking down upon a river that leads to the sea. Do all the tours you can. You will be well taken care of,... More

We just had an amazing 4 night stay at Belcampo. The staff was extremely attentive, the food superb, and the excursions well thought out and memorable. We especially enjoyed our day spent with Vincent, visiting a Mayan ruin, having lunch at his home (prepared by his wife), and swimming in Blue Creek Cave. On another day, we visited a spice... More
