We weren't able to stay in our first choice Beya Suites as it was fully booked and were lucky to find this B&B next door. The front is still unfinished and a bit off putting but once you go inside, the reception area and rooms are immaculate and the care taken by the Mayan lady who manages the B&B for the American owner is obvious. Patrizia is a mine of information on the local area and can tell you which bus to catch to visit local Mayan sites or the Blue Creek. If you're looking for just a room and can arrange your own trips,this place is ideal. Breakfast is available for a supplement.
Disadvantages are - no internet and a 10 minute walk to town. more
