From what we could tell, South Waters was not that different from most of the places available in Placencia. The cabanas are pretty basic, location was good. We stayed 5 nights at South Waters Resort in March '06 in a seaside Cabana. Ok, if you are looking for private, quaint, simple accomodation and not too expensive. Ask for Cabana 1 or 4, as 2 and 3 are close to the Crow's Nest and people talking late into the evening might keep you awake if you are a... more
