Julian and Beverly are the nicest hosts we've ever had. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and take care of everything you might want or need. And their cooking is superb. The resort here is small but cozy. It is a great place to stay esp if you are planning to fly fish or dive the Placencia area. We had guides for both activities meet us in the mornings and drop us back in the afternoons. There is even a good permit flat that can be waded right on the island. They have a bar which serves the local fishermen passing by and can lead to some great conversations over a cold rum & coke. more
