We stayed 4 nights, and it was wonderful. Right on the beach, and the staff is super helpful and nice. Easy walking distance to just about everything in town. It was very easy to make reservations ahead of time, and communication with the lodge before we arrived was excellent

We stayed in three different locations in Belize and this hotel was our favorite. We were there December 11 to 15th. The cabin is on the beach, literally two steps of the front door and your feet are in the sand, it's fantastic. The beach is peaceful and beautiful, very easy to get to restaurants, banks, shops etc. In fact... More

I have stayed at ranguana lodge twice now and the cottages are very clean, comfortable, and close to the beach and other attractions of Placencia. The staff is extremely helpful- they went out of their way to help me book excursions while I was in town. The cottages are equipped with everything you could need to cook for yourself or... More

Less than $100/night for a cottage on the beach.....with a kitchen, bath, and covered porch with a hammock! This little five cottage complex was cute and in good condition. The lady running the place was nice and very helpful. The bathroom was a little outdated and small, but we found no problem with it. This is not luxury lodging, but... More

Ranguana Lodge is a great place to stay in Placencia. Within 5 min you can walk to most of the restaurants, bars and shops. It is located at the beachfront and from the veranda of our cabana we had a very pretty beach and sea view. The whole lodge is well-kept and tastful: you find a lot if pretty plants... More

Nice cabanas close to noisy bars but we were there Sunday and Monday night so ok the fan noise took care of it as well as the breeze. Staff was great and helpful. Fridge and hammocks were nice.. Did a snorkelling tour with night wind tours and just the two of us with the guide Bobo in the water with... More

We stayed at the Ranguana Lodge Jan 29, 30, and 31/14 and it was great! We were in the Triggerfish Cabana which is on the beach (as is the Parrot Fish Cabana). The room was clean and there is lots of hot water. There is a nice little porch with a table and chairs and, of course, a hammock! The... More

We spent two nights and enjoyed the location. Beach front cabin-type rooms were simple, yet clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Location is good. The Barefoot Bar next door can be loud late into the night, but we were okay with that.

Had the great fortune of renting a cabin for a week complete with kitchen! It was off season so it was right around $50-60/night. A short walk down the Narrowest Main Street in the World(sidewalk) to the local restaurants and bars. More on the north end of the village it is away from the din of the outdoor bars. On... More

I recently spent three nights at the Ranguana Lodge and found it to be a great place to stay. It is about a ten minute walk up the Sidewalk from the waterfront, almost next door to the D'Tatch restaurant to one side and the Barefoot Bar on the otherside. Should the stress of relaxing in one of the hotel loungers... More
