Subject says it all -- a nonstop procession of fleas invaded our bed all night long. After massacring the first 50, I gave up and raised the white flag. This was pretty gross - we didn't have this problem anywhere else in Belize or Guatemala. Still itchy a week later. more

We don't have fleas. There are sand flies in the Tropic's. They are nearly microscopic, so I can't see how possibly, you could have killed 50 of them. If ever I have a guest bothered by sand flies, I give them Avon SKin so Soft complimentary. I suggest on the website they bring it with them. These guests came in...

My husband and I recently attended the wedding of some friends at the Inn at Robert's Grove. We looked into staying there, and although it looked lovely, we decided it wasn't for us. For one thing, we were somewhat turned off by the description of air conditioning and television in every room (meant to be a selling point, I'm sure).... more

We have stayed at Miller's Landing in Placencia, Belize twice a year for the past 6 years. This is a small, eco friendly family owned resort right on the beach. The rooms and grounds while not fancy are always clean The food that Annie serves is always well prepared and plentiful, which is very important after a hard day of... more

My wife and I stayed at Miller's Landing the 12th thru 19th of March and had a wonderfull time. Miller's Landing is a small resort very well designed to fit in with the Placencia physical envirenment of beach, sea breezes, sun, and lush tropical plants. We were always comfortable and surrounded by the natural tropical environment. Antoinette and Gary Miller... more

We stayed one night at Miller's Landing. We were scheduled for four, but got up early and started searching for other places. The room was okay - nothing special, but then we weren't looking for anything special. Just a decent place to stay and enjoy the beautiful Carribean. We had been under the impression that the rooms had refrigerators. No... more

We would recommend staying at Miller's Landing if you are looking for a quiet, beautiful resort that is a step above the ordinary! Anne and Gary built Miller's Landing and in doing so kept the beautiful, lush, tropical environment intact. Yes, you will get bug bites (you are not in the city, you are in the jungle even though it... more

My fiancee and I stayed at Miller's Landing for 4 nights. We had a great time - the food was fantastic, the owners Gary and Annie were very friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent. It is a short, fun, bike ride into town, or a quick walk to some other interesting beaches/hotels. We had two wonderful dinners and... more

Miller's Landing was simply a wonderful place! It was my first visit to Central America, and a great way to start. Yes, it was a bit "out of the way" if you want to go into the town of Placencia often, especially at night. However, my friend and I found that a walk along the shore into town was great... more

Miller's Landing is an excellent off the beaten path get away its a 15 minute bike ride to town and the bicycles are free. The meals are home cooked and Anne buys the food for each meal that day. The atmosphere is pleasant and you get a feel at home kind of feeling. It is not your typical high buck... more

I would not recommend this resort to anyone unless you like to be the only ones staying there besides the owners. Unlike typical "all inclusives" the meal plan here is not flexible. Most nights we would be the only ones eating dinner while the owners sat and hovered over us. This was very awkward, especially if you didn't care for... more
