We stayed in the flip-flop palace and loved it. The location is beautiful, though somewhat remote (not really walkable from Placencia). The rooms were beautifully appointed, and the AC was high quality and working! Excellent food and accommodations. Would highly recommend the Agua Villa house for a family with children. Private pool and deck right on the beach is priceless. the beach was fabulous, just watch out for sand fleas. The hotel bistro was amazing, sassy shrimp, mojo chicken and the nut encrusted fish were our faves. I would go back for sure more
