This hotel is over priced for what it has to offer. It is located on a very narrow beach on a dirt road. Seriously a dirt road. You ride on it for about 15 miles and it takes forever because of the conditions of the road. You have to travel into the town of Placencia for dinner which is 7 miles away and takes half an hour to get there. Big pain in the rear, figuratively and literally. By the last day I just had had enough and ate in the hotel restaurant just so I did not have to ride that road again.
The hotel is over priced considering you are in the middle of nowhere and there is not a lot to do but sit by the pool and drink. It took all day to request a volleyball to play a game just to find out the net was riped down the middle. Our kid made the best of it since we where traveling with two other families. Had we not had friends with us, it would have been a disaster.
