We arrived in Placencia in the evening of June 18 to find that the electricity in our rental accomodation was shut off. It was too late for the tour company to contact anyone to have it restored so they made arrangements for us to spend the night at LaChapelle. They could not have found us a better place. We got off the water taxi and were looking for something in town and La Chappelle was great! Mark is really friendly and helpful and everything is right there. We happened upon this place when our other place we booked deemed unsuitable. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location great, in town,practically on the beach, new building, rooftop jacuzzi and deck (beautiful ocean and villiage views). 24 hour security guard.
