As others have mentioned, the rooms are almost unbelievably clean. Great price, comfortable beds, nice view of the sea, interesting mix of people at the bar. Perfect location within walking distance of both the bus terminal and the water taxi. more

Our group of 18 stayed at the Hokol Kin for 6 days and it was wonderful. Very clean, basic rooms. The owners are friendly, and they even invited me into their kitchen and learn how to make tortillas. The patio is a great place to meet other travelers and share a cold coke. Enjoy! more

I would describe this place as more of a boutique hotel than a guesthouse in terms of the quality of the rooms. This is a family owned guesthouse with a friendly service oriented staff. we have stayed there in july 2003 and june 2004 for a week each on a methodist mission trip. marty and carol are great hosts. emily (4) is darling. the food was excellent. just a great place to stay with friends. it was close to our worksite and we walked there. franciso wa a good tour guide. carol fixed up... more
